Clear the fitting date
What you do before the fitting date: check what is missing. One blocked item is enough to send two fitters out for nothing on 3 September — which is why this list decides the date, not the calendar.

Everything in this demo is laid out and none of it acts: buttons only report that they have no effect in the demo, checkboxes are fixed, input fields lead nowhere. Nothing is stored, sent or fetched.
How Awelior would approach this project
Whitcombe Flooring, Chattanooga is invented — the way it is built is not. None of this is work delivered for a client. It is the shape we would give such a project — with the same depth, but without a client who would have to answer for it.
Where it starts
Whitcombe Flooring measures flats, calculates areas and writes quotations. Between the visit and the quotation sits a week: folding rule and scrap paper, photographs somewhere in the camera roll, and somebody in the evening typing up what was settled at midday. That week is where the job is won or lost — whoever leaves a quotation behind at the customer's table has the advantage.
Decisions
The app asks rather than averages
When opposite walls give different measurements, the room is not square. An average would be convenient and would get the wastage allowance wrong; the app puts both figures on the screen and lets the fitter decide which one counts.
The price list states its own age
Older than 30 days and the quotation can still be produced — but the app says so. Quietly calculating with last quarter's prices is the one mistake that turns a visit like this into lost money.
Photographs belong to a room, not to a date
Every shot is attached to the room it is taken in, at the moment it is taken. Forty pictures of one morning in a single folder are as useless three weeks later as no pictures at all — and by then nobody remembers the hairline crack by the patio door.
Deliberately left outNo signature and no order placed at the kitchen table. A quotation that becomes a signed contract on the spot needs its cancellation terms in writing next to the signature line — that wants thinking through before anyone builds a button for it.

Navigation responds, including the route from the room list into a single room and back. Measurements, the substrate checklist, the photographs and the quotation flow are fully rendered and inert — nothing is calculated and certainly nothing is sent. The four states have a view of their own.
How it would go on
Prices, products and wastage
Manufacturer lists, discount tiers, surcharges for laying patterns. How much wastage a diagonal lay needs is trade knowledge and does not belong in a template.
Quotation, order, invoice
The measurement becomes a quotation, the quotation an order, the order an invoice. Without that path into the job system the app stays a better pocket calculator.
Photographs of other people's homes
Pictures from a customer visit show somebody's flat. Resolution, transfer, storage location and deletion period belong settled before launch, not when the first phone runs out of space.
