The farms set their own prices. These are final prices including sales tax, with the unit price shown on the listing. The label „business" or „private sale" comes from the seller's own declaration — a private sale is as-is, with no returns and no warranty. The contract is with the farm, not with us.

Three steps, several contracts
Fill the basket
You can put listings from several farms into one basket. The sale is still concluded farm by farm: four farms in the basket means four contracts with four counterparties.
Pay us
The money comes to the marketplace and stays here until handover. On Thursdays we settle with the farms, less the 8 % fee, which the farm pays.
Collect it or have it brought
Thursday and Friday at one of the four points, or into town from 1 pm on Friday. Anything not collected by Saturday goes back to the farm and is refunded.
Who is actually across the table
We sell nothing. The seller is always the farm, the beekeeper or the private person who posted the listing. Who that is in each case appears on the listing, in the basket and again on the confirmation — with a name and an address, not just a farm name.
Whether someone sells as a business or privately is what the seller declares when they join. We pass that declaration on and put it in plain sight on the listing, because what you can expect depends on it: a business stands behind the goods and publishes a return policy on every listing. From a private seller you get neither — the sale is as-is.
Only accounts with a completed, paid order from that particular farm can leave a review. We check that link between order and review automatically; we do not check whether the text is fair. We neither buy reviews nor collect them for anyone.
What the market costs is set out under „How it works". Buying carries no fee for you; delivery into town adds $3.90 per order, and that figure sits in the basket before you send it.
