What "it fits" means here
We know three grades and we write them down. "Fits" means the part is in the manufacturer's parts list for your type and your series. "Measured" means we have had an original in our hands and measured it. "Similar" means the dimensions agree but the approval does not exist — it can work and usually does, but we are not claiming it.
The serial number is not decoration. Manufacturers change dimensions inside a running series without touching the type designation. On the KP-40/160 the shaft seal moves from 25×45×7 to 25×47×7 at number 21400. Two millimeters, one failure, one day of standstill.
Prices are total prices including sales tax; shipping is added and stated on the part as well as in the order summary. Bags and packs carry the unit price per piece, otherwise a bag of ten cannot be compared with a single item. From five bags a tiered price applies, and it appears in the basket before the order is placed.
Two restrictions we will not talk our way out of: shaft seals come in bags of ten, because repacking single rings costs more than a ring. And electrical components go to trade customers only — proof of trade once, after which the release sits in your account.
Questions about finding parts
I cannot find the nameplate.
Then two photos help: one of the whole machine, one of the spot where the broken part sits. On the common series we recognize the type from that. If we cannot, we say so rather than guess.
The manufacturer no longer exists. Can I still get parts?
Often yes. Bearings, seals, belts and coupling elements are standardized; what counts is the dimensions, not the name on the housing. We measure the old part and supply the standard equivalent. With control boards and castings it gets thin, and we say that too.
What if the part does not fit after all?
Unopened and uninstalled, we take it back within 30 days, from trade customers as well — that is our policy, not a fine print exception. Nothing comes back once it has been installed: a shaft seal that has been on a shaft is used, and it shows.
Why is there no price on special-order parts?
Because it depends on the drawing. Made-up belts, turned bushes and shafts to size are quoted on the work involved. Those parts cannot be returned either — it says so in the quote and again in the cart.
Can we order against a PO number and cost center?
Yes. A trade account carries a PO number, a cost center and a machine reference per line. All three appear on the delivery note and the invoice, so maintenance can later tell which part went into which machine.
