Ingredients and allergens
Ingredients: wild boar (62 %), pork back fat, onions, EGG, cognac, rock salt, mustard seed, juniper, black pepper, thyme. Major allergens are written in capitals here; in the shop they appear in bold. Mustard is named in the list because people ask, not because it is one of the nine.
Contains: egg, mustard. May contain traces of milk and celery — terrines are finished with cream and stocks are made with celery in the same kitchen. We write that because it is true, not to cover ourselves.
The share of wild boar is given as a percentage because the meat is what the product is named after. If it says game pâté, you are entitled to know how much game is in it.

Net quantity 180 g. Twist-off lid, batch number stamped into it. Store at 7 °C or below; once opened, keep refrigerated and use within three days.
Best before: printed on the lid, with at least four months left at the time of dispatch. If a batch runs shorter because a series is ending, the date appears in the basket before you buy — not as a surprise in the parcel.

Questions about this product
Can I send this pâté back?
No, and that is not us being awkward: nothing that has to travel cold comes back. Once a jar has made the trip home again, nobody can show whether the cold chain held. For the ambient jars — chutney, plum butter, preserves — the 30-day return applies in full as long as the jar is unopened.
Why is there a second price next to the price?
That is the unit price per 100 g. It is there so a 130 g jar and a 500 g ring can be compared without arithmetic. For goods sold by quantity the figure is required, and it belongs next to the total price rather than on some subpage.
When does the jar arrive?
Ordered by Monday noon it leaves on Tuesday and arrives Wednesday or Thursday. Ordered by Wednesday noon it leaves on Thursday and arrives Friday. After that the chilled route rests until Tuesday — nothing cold goes out over a weekend.
What about the traces of milk and celery?
The kitchen has one stove and one mixer. We clean between batches, but we cannot rule out cross-contact. Anyone with a serious allergy should leave this jar alone, even though neither milk nor celery is in the recipe.
Is this legal advice?
